Waking up early. Cool morning air. Slight breeze from the water. Some of the best feelings are the quiet mornings before the city is awake going on a run. Just yourself and the birds flying around. This is the feeling I aim to capture with this concept. The photos in the section include scouting photos of some of the actual areas I have in mind to shoot in.
Morning Run COncept
I strive for a cinematic photography style, that carries with it a feeling and a story . That is where I believe photography is at its most impactful. Even within product photography, it creates a world that a potential customer can picture themselves in and associate with your brand and your products.
The locations in mind are downtown Minneapolis, MN and a small neighborhood area nearby that is actually located on an island within the Mississippi River. I want to capture the warmth of the morning light along with the cool shadows. These photos were captured earlier in the spring, but now the grass and trees have some more green which I think helps add some color and dimension to the photos.
This is a mood board of photos that have aspect that I like and help to share what I have in mind for this photoshoot. Some of them have nice colors, posing, and compositions that serve as inspiration photos.
